The Pains Wessex Manoverboard MK9 is a SOLAS-approved combined light and smoke lifebuoy marker designed to enhance man-overboard (MOB) safety. Typically mounted on a ship’s bridge wing and attached to a 4 kg lifebuoy, it can be automatically or manually deployed to mark the position of a person in the water during day or night.
