MariTeam produces custom lifeboat markings for passenger and cargo vessels, including mandatory identification and vessel-specific text, numbers and pictograms.
LSA Code 4.4.9
- Capacity: The number of persons for which the lifeboat is approved shall be clearly marked in clear and permanent characters.
- Vessel name and port: The name and port of registry of the ship shall be marked on each side of the lifeboat's bow in block capitals of the Roman alphabet.
- Identification from above: The ship identification and lifeboat number shall be marked so they are visible from above.
Custom marking
- Colours: Black or white
- Custom sizes: Produced to the required letter height, overall dimension or vessel-specific specification
- Custom text and IDs: Vessel name, port, capacity, lifeboat number and other required marking
- Pictograms: Existing artwork or references can be uploaded with the RFQ
