The Francis LSP380 575W Metal Halide Portable Suez Canal Searchlight is a portable high intensity searchlight designed for vessels requiring a Suez Canal searchlight arrangement. The unit combines long range performance with a compact self contained construction suitable for temporary deck positioning and transport.
The 575W metal halide optical system provides approximately 3,767 metres range at 1 lux with a narrow 2.1° beam. A lamp changeover arrangement provides operational redundancy, while external levers allow the beam to be split into two 20° sections to create a 40° split arc where required.
