In critical onboard systems—especially fuel, oil, and hydraulic lines—any leak can have serious consequences. The Anti-Splashing Tape (SOLAS Approved) is a certified safety solution designed to contain pressurized sprays from pipe flanges, valves, and fittings in the event of a failure. It provides a physical barrier that minimizes the risk of ignition, fire, and injury by preventing atomized liquid from coming into contact with hot surfaces.
This tape is compliant with SOLAS regulation II-2/4.2.2.5.3 and conforms to IMO resolution A.653(16), making it fully approved for use in engine rooms and other enclosed spaces where flammable liquids are handled under pressure.
Developed for commercial vessels, offshore installations, and industrial engine systems, this anti-splashing tape is manufactured with a high-adhesion, temperature-resistant backing and a durable woven fabric that can withstand harsh marine conditions, including salt, oil, vibration, and thermal cycling.
The product is delivered in rolls and can be manually applied without special tools, making it ideal for retrofit applications or scheduled maintenance. Once applied correctly, it remains stable in high-temperature environments and is clearly visible for inspection purposes.
This solution supports compliance with international safety standards and helps technical procurement teams reduce downtime, meet class society requirements, and ensure safe operation of high-pressure systems.
