Francis FSP300 Halogen Marine Signalling Searchlight is a permanently installed visual signalling and searchlight solution for vessels requiring reliable day and night communication. The manual shutter supports Morse code signalling, while the shutter can be locked open so the unit can also be used as a conventional searchlight.
The FSP300 family supports 250W, 650W and 1000W halogen configurations and Francis specifies a minimum daylight signalling range of approximately
10 nautical miles / 18.5 km with signalling speeds up to 12 words per minute.
