The Francis FSP250 1000W Halogen Signalling Projector is a heavy duty marine signalling light for medium and large vessels requiring reliable ship to ship and ship to shore visual communication. The 250 mm projector is designed for pedestal or bridge wing mounting and uses a mechanical shutter for Morse code and similar signalling.
Francis specifies a minimum daylight signalling range of approximately 10 nautical miles / 18.5 km and a signalling speed of up to 12 words per minute. The brass anti magnetic construction is fully weatherproof and intended for demanding marine operating environments.
