Feeding and Dosage
Recommended feeding method is to slug dose via a shot feeder. Feed equipment should be of mild steel, stainless steel, or plastic construction.
Testing Procedure
The proper concentration of PERFORMAX 345M corrosion inhibitor is maintained by using the Molybdate Ampoule Test Kit (PCN 1AA8156). Tests should be conducted to confirm that a minimum PERFORMAX 345M treatment concentration of 7,500 ppm is present. Testing will also confirm that the recommended maximum of 12,500 ppm of PERFORMAX 345M treatment has not been exceeded. Normally, testing once each week is satisfactory; however, when makeup addition to the system is large or unusual changes are noticed, testing frequency should be increased.
