Mercy Ships is a global organization providing healthcare to the world’s poorest populations. Over 5 billion people lack access to affordable surgical services, and only 6% of operations reach these countries. Mercy Ships aims to make healthcare accessible by offering holistic support to developing nations. Since 1978, they have served over 2.84 million beneficiaries in the poorest countries. The organization operates through international centers, national offices, and hospital ships. Founder Don Stephens continues to inspire the staff and crew.
The Africa Mercy and Global Mercy are the largest non-governmental hospital ships, serving Africa. Mercy Ships trains medical professionals and collaborates with local and international partners. They have performed over 105,500 surgical procedures, 488,000 dental procedures, and provided training to over 6,600 professionals. Additionally, they have taught basic healthcare to 252,000 people and completed 1,110 infrastructure projects.
In Denmark, many children are excluded from the traditions we share. They grow up in families with no money for neither presents nor Christmas tree and Christmas food. And when their classmates are looking forward to Christmas, they have nothing to look forward to. For those children, December is a sad and heavy month. Christmas makes them feel left out. And for their parents, the holidays are filled with worries.
Because NO mother or father wants to see the Christmas light in their children’s eyes be put out. With the Christmas aid we give an important ray of hope to vulnerable families. We help parents to let go of their worries and feel better. And we give children the opportunity to experience the joy of Christmas on the same terms as their friends. No children shall feel left out. This year, our mission is to give Christmas aid to thousands of vulnerable families in Denmark.
The funds raised goes to this year’s Christmas aid and Danish Red Cross’ other initiatives for vulnerable families in Denmark.

Mosede Boldklub was founded in the spring of 1987 and has since become a thriving sports club. With a strong emphasis on camaraderie and social interaction, the club has grown to include a vibrant community of members who share a passion for football.
Currently, Mosede Boldklub boasts three senior teams, one old boys team, and two veteran teams. These teams cater to players of various skill levels and age groups, ensuring that there is a place for everyone within the club.
What sets Mosede Boldklub apart is its dedication to fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The club values the importance of creating a friendly and inclusive environment where the joy of the game and the social aspect are always prioritized. Members of the club wholeheartedly support all teams, and the home matches are always characterized by an electric atmosphere and a strong turnout of enthusiastic spectators.
