Application guide
INCLUDED WITH EVERY ORDEREach lifebuoy marking set includes a simple application guide. The stickers are shaped to fit the curve of a standard 30" lifebuoy, with the vessel name at the top and home port at the bottom.
- Prepare the surface – Ensure the lifebuoy is clean, dry and free of salt, grease or dust. Use mild soap and water or isopropyl alcohol and allow the surface to dry completely.
- Apply in suitable conditions – For best results, apply at 15–25°C and avoid cold or humid conditions.
- Apply gradually – Peel back a small section of the backing, align the sticker and press it into place. Continue removing the backing slowly while smoothing with a soft cloth or squeegee to avoid air bubbles.
- Finish and maintain – Press firmly across the full sticker. Clean gently when required and avoid direct high pressure cleaning on the marking.
