The Respirex SC1 Splash Suit is a Type 3 chemical protective suit designed for use in environments where there is a risk of exposure to hazardous liquid chemicals. Constructed from Chemprotex™ 300, a high-performance multi-layer chemical barrier fabric, this suit offers robust protection while maintaining comfort and flexibility for the wearer. It is suitable for use with breathing apparatus worn outside the suit or with a full face mask and filter.
Material: Chemprotex™ 300 multi-layer chemical barrier fabric
Design: One-piece construction with rear-entry 91 cm (36") nylon zip across the shoulders, featuring double external zip flaps and self-adhesive tape closure
Hood: Integral hood with neoprene rubber face grommet to seal around the wearer's face mask
Gloves: Chemically protective gloves permanently attached to the suit material; supplied with separate neoprene outer gloves for mechanical protection
Feet: Integral socks with outer splash guard legs; designed to be worn inside the user's own safety boots
Antistatic Feature: Conductive strip on feet for use with ESD/conductive boots to provide a conductive path from gloves to earth
